Today's Word: James 1:1-2

Do you love trials? We don't, that's for sure. But the Apostle James tells us to "consider it pure joy" when we face trials of different kinds. So even if we're not exactly happy amid problems, we are consoled by the fact that yes, we can still be joyful even though we undergo trials, knowing that these are merely avenues by which God tests our faith. And when our testing is complete, so are we, not lacking anything! What a promise! We all encounter difficulties, some of them too heavy a burden for us. But these should not sway us from God and His promises. Let us not forget that if He brought us (or allowed us) into it, He will also bring us through it. God will give us victory and we will overcome. Let us hold on to that hope and remember that the problems we have are temporary but for those who are called and chosen, there is an eternal life where we will
cry no more in the company of our Lord God.
Be blessed!
