Steak to One at Quezon Memorial Circle

Early last week, my food buddy and I discovered a nice place to have a steak and really chill out in the middle of a park with lots of trees and a huge play area for kids. It's Steak to One inside the Quezon Memorial Circle. It's been operating
since 2016 and also accepts catering services.
We were the only customers during the time we were there but according to the owner, who introduced herself as Rose Imperial, they have a full house at night time on weekdays and all day during weekends. Now, the lady was a charming and amiable elderly woman who was a pleasure to meet. We had a great time talking and laughing. She even gave us free leche flan for dessert!
Anyway, my friend and I came at lunchtime and these were our orders:

Pomelo Salad, P165.
This was my friend's and she loved it! I had a taste and agreed with her that it's really good! Aside from pomelo chunks, there's lettuce, kani (crab meat), nuts and spices -- all perfectly coming together especially when bathed in vinaigrette.
It's a feast for the taste buds!

Caesar Salad, P155.
This was my starter that I really loved as well. Caesar salad is my default order
when I want a salad and Steak to One's version didn't disappoint.
 It's bacony and cheesy!

Porterhouse Steak, P280.
My buddy's main entree. She let me have some and I found the meat really
tasty and tender. I'd love to have it on my next visit.

Shrimp Scampi, P190.
This was my order which, sadly, failed to impress me. It was dry and the shrimps were obviously not fresh. Ms. Rose, seeing my plate when I was done eating but with some of the pasta left, knew it was not prepared well. She apologized and said it was actually one of their best sellers and was unhappy at how my order turned out. She talked with the chef and came back, explaining that the parmesan cheese should have been served separately, not mixed into the dish as it would soak up the sauce, resulting in dry pasta. She then offered us free dessert to make up for my disappointment. I didn't mention about the shrimp anymore, as she already felt unhappy about the dry pasta. Well, they're forgiven. I'm sure that's not always the case.

Free leche flan for dessert!
This was heavenly! Very smooth and creamy. I thought I went up to dessert heaven and came back right on time to return to work. Hahaha!

Brewed coffee, P78.
I was happy they have good coffee and it's even refillable,
with fresh milk, to boot!

They give service water with lemon!

Inside Steak to One

If you're somewhere near the Quezon Memorial Circle, I recommend that you visit Steak to One for affordable but juicy, yummy steaks. Don't forget they have mouthwatering leche flan as well! I hope to be back soon to try their
other offers. And yes, spend some time at the swing
in the nearby kids' play area!
