Today's Word: Romans 8:11

Resurrection Sunday is here and what a glorious day it is! Death has no power over Jesus. Our Redeemer lives! When He comes back, we too shall live even though we will one day lay down our physical body, to be with Jesus for all time to come.

Today's Word: Matthew 28:5-6

Today, we celebrate life! Jesus rose from the dead in order to complete our salvation. What a victory! Sin, death and even disease no longer have to hold us down because Christ, our Lord and Savior lives and sits on the throne! 

As followers of Jesus, we believe there is more to Resurrection Sunday than giving away bunnies and hunting eggs. We uphold the truth that by rising from the dead, Jesus proved once and for all that He is the Son of God, that He has the power to forgive the sins of mankind, and that He won the victory over the enemy. 

Indeed, without the resurrection of Jesus, there is no salvation, no Christianity and faith is futile. But because He lives, we are assured that even though we will one day lay down our earthly bodies, we shall rise again, this time with glorified bodies, to spend eternity with the everlasting God in paradise. Rejoice in this beautiful truth! Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

Today's Word: John 3:16

Jesus is alive! Hallelujah! Believers of God and Jesus celebrated Resurrection Sunday yesterday. If only all people knew the profound meaning and importance of Jesus rising from the dead, we would all have thrown bigger feasts yesterday than any other day of the year! The Lord is alive today and forever, and is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. With His resurrection, He not only triumphed over death but also over sickness, poverty, and all other forms of oppression by the enemy, Satan. 

Because of this, He is able to help us rise above all troubles us human being suffer. We just have to ask and trust Jesus! What a happy day Resurrection Sunday indeed was! I hope you skipped the Easter egg hunt and read and reflected on how Jesus won against all forces of evil to give us eternal life, healing and prosperity. Praise and thank Him for His sacrifice on the cross that shows his boundless, immeasurable 

and unfathomable love for you and for me.

Today's Word: Romans 8:11

Today, we celebrate life! Jesus is risen, He conquered death! To us who believe in Him, there is no more shame, no more condemnation. We, whose Lord and Savior is the Christ, no longer have to fear death because even after we leave our physical bodies when our time comes, we will rise again to live forever with the 
most Holy God. This, because Jesus rose from death 

on that first Resurrection Sunday. 

Hallelujah! 

May we understand the relevance of this most important event even today, thousands of years after. Romans 8:11 is a very powerful verse to meditate on. The same Spirit who raised Jesus lives in us! This just blows my mind! Imagine the power that's within us! If only we would understand this with all of our heart, we would know we do not have to fear facing the storms of life - troubles, sickness, financial difficulties. 

We have God's mighty, awesome power to deal with all these! 

So how do we tap and make use of such power? 

Through prayer and faith.

Today's Word: John 19:30

It's the week after Resurrection Sunday. How was your reflections of our Lord Jesus' death on the cross? At church, I couldn't cry enough thinking of my own sins. I knew it had to be me suffering for my wrongdoings. But Jesus, that sinless Man, chose to take my place and died for me so I could have eternal life.  Were you thinking like I was? I hope and pray that Jesus' sacrifice of His own life got you thinking hard of where you are headed. Have you accepted Him as Lord of your life and Savior? I pray you've had or you will because Jesus died for you and me and His death on the cross would be in vain if we do not regard Him as Lord and Savior. Just before He gave up His spirit, He said, "It is finished". It is finished! No more condemnation for our sins, no more chains by the Enemy, we are set free! May Jesus' resurrection and triumph over sin and death leave an indelible mark in our hearts - 

the very blood that was shed for us.
